Chris Ringland was born in New Zealand. He found a passion for wine early in life which took him to Australia to study at Roseworthy.  His unique style of winemaking was honed during his 15 years of making wine at Rockford winery in Barossa. Soon after he created his own label. It is his extraordinary style that has won him his vast fan base (as well as a few detractors..).

Chris has explored the boundaries of power and intensity in wine with a collection of bold and brash wines made in Barossa, South Australia. They are not for the feint hearted. Here, side by side, we have a tasting of Shiraz monoliths that have arrived at that outer edge of expression. Tasting them leaves an impression that lasts a lifetime.
