Ibérico Ham is considered to be the jewel of Spanish gastronomy. Come and join this unique tasting experience featuring the coveted Spanish acorn-fed and fodder-fed Iberico ham ranging from 30 to 60 months of ageing.
In this workshop, you will learn about the key characteristics of the ham and what makes Ibérico ham so unique. You will also taste 6 selected wines including sparkling, red, white and fortified wines that pair wonderfully with them.

Borja Sánchez, born in Barcelona (Spain) arrived to Hong Kong 15 years ago to promote Spanish Gastronomy.
After leading the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Spanish Chef Association, Borja founded LOS IBERICOS Ltd., with the mission of being the top Spanish F&B supplier in Hong Kong.
Borja Sanchez is exclusive agent in Hong Kong and Macau for premium IBERICO brand ARTURO SANCHEZ “Jewel of Gastronomy” ® his knowledge of the product makes him a real IBERICO EXPERT. Thanks to this knowledge and experience, Borja provides services as IBERICO ham carving training and IBERICO ham and wine pairing.
Borja has been speaker at seminars about IBERICO at VTC International Culinary Institute and School of Hotel and Management in Poly University. Borja is bachelor in Business Administration & International marketing and has a master in Asian Culture.
