Dear AWSEC students,
Please be informed that the AWSEC office and reception will be closed for renovation from July 1st to August 10th.

During this period our classes and classrooms will operate as normal and some temporary arrangements have been made to minimise disruption, as per the following :
- A temporary reception desk where you can enrol, make payments, and make enquiries is available on Room 1501, Riesling (Mon to Fri 10:00 – 17:00) or Room 1609, 16th Floor (Mon to Fri 17:00 – 21:00, Sat & Sun 10:00-18:00)
- The AWSEC hotline will remain unchanged at 2837-9100.
- Client Services staff will be on duty as normal, but will be stationed on 16th Floor. You will be able to contact them for assistance by calling 2837-9100.

Following services will be suspended:
- Certificate pick-up service
- Aroma kit purchase
- Textbook collection before courses start (Your textbook will be distributed on the first session)
- Library service
- Zoom service

Gin Ambassador


COURSE INFORMATION

Gin Ambassador is a fun and interactive course allowing you to smell and taste Gin botanicals and blend a small bottle of your own Gin to take home!

The Gin Ambassador course is a one-day programme covering:

  • Origins and history of Gin
  • Different production methods for Gin
  • Botanicals
  • Styles of Gin

You will taste 8 Gins of different styles with different tonics and garnishes!

There is a 30 question, multiple-choice exam and a practical aroma botanical test. Following successful completion, you will receive your prestigious Gin Ambassador certificate and lapel pin.

So, whether you work in hospitality and would like to know more to be able to advise your customers, or you simply love gin, this programme is for you!

Examination:
  • Identify 6 Botanicals
  • 30 multiple-choice questions
Exam Duration:
  • 20 minutes + 45 minutes
Passing Grade:
  • 4 out of 6 Botanicals
  • 21 out of 30 multiple-choice questions
