Dear AWSEC students,
Please be informed that the AWSEC office and reception will be closed for renovation from July 1st to August 10th.

During this period our classes and classrooms will operate as normal and some temporary arrangements have been made to minimise disruption, as per the following :
- A temporary reception desk where you can enrol, make payments, and make enquiries is available on Room 1501, Riesling (Mon to Fri 10:00 – 17:00) or Room 1609, 16th Floor (Mon to Fri 17:00 – 21:00, Sat & Sun 10:00-18:00)
- The AWSEC hotline will remain unchanged at 2837-9100.
- Client Services staff will be on duty as normal, but will be stationed on 16th Floor. You will be able to contact them for assistance by calling 2837-9100.

Following services will be suspended:
- Certificate pick-up service
- Aroma kit purchase
- Textbook collection before courses start (Your textbook will be distributed on the first session)
- Library service
- Zoom service

WSET Level 3 Award in Wines Exam Revision Session


This exam revision class will focus on preparing students for their WSET Level 3 Award in Wines examination. The class will focus on exam techniques for both the theory and tasting part of the exam.

For the theory part, the educator will conduct a revision through major wine regions and the styles of wine produced with focus on possible exam questions. Students will be shown common mistakes often seen in exams and guided on how to avoid them and answer according to the command verbs in the questions. Sample questions will be used to demonstrate the understanding of the concepts and you will be guided on how to apply this understanding in your answer.

The class will also cover the tasting part of the exam with the discussion of tasting note examples. There will be a blind tasting of two typical examination wines, one red and one white under exam conditions, followed by a discussion of the wines and some quick tips on writing your tasting notes in the exam.
