Dear AWSEC students,
Please be informed that the AWSEC office and reception will be closed for renovation from July 1st to August 10th.

During this period our classes and classrooms will operate as normal and some temporary arrangements have been made to minimise disruption, as per the following :
- A temporary reception desk where you can enrol, make payments, and make enquiries is available on Room 1501, Riesling (Mon to Fri 10:00 – 17:00) or Room 1609, 16th Floor (Mon to Fri 17:00 – 21:00, Sat & Sun 10:00-18:00)
- The AWSEC hotline will remain unchanged at 2837-9100.
- Client Services staff will be on duty as normal, but will be stationed on 16th Floor. You will be able to contact them for assistance by calling 2837-9100.

Following services will be suspended:
- Certificate pick-up service
- Aroma kit purchase
- Textbook collection before courses start (Your textbook will be distributed on the first session)
- Library service
- Zoom service

German Wine Academy (Level I)


COURSE INFORMATION

  • Participants will receive an official certificate issued by Wines of Germany acknowledging your attendance

German Wine Academy – Level I is the first education programme developed by Wines of Germany, the generic body responsible for promoting German wines around the world. 

In this 3-hour course, 7 wines of different styles, grape varieties and from different German wine regions will be tasted.  Participants will receive an official certificate issued by Wines of Germany acknowledging your attendance.

7 wines will be tasted. You will not only be able to look into the versatile styles of the great German Riesling but also explore an array of other German white grape varieties as well as Spätburgunder (German Pinot Noir).

An official study guide “Oechsle” will be provided. A Certificate of Attendance will be issued by Wines of Germany.
