A+ Australian Wine School (Level 1) is a course developed by Wine Australia, the government body responsible for the promotion of Australian wine, for people who want to discover more about the unique characteristics of Australian wine. If you already know the basics and enjoy wine, this course is a chance to learn about grape growing and winemaking in Australia; key grape varieties wines such as Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay; as well as an introduction to Australia's key wine regions, producers and 'Regional Heroes'.
You will taste 6 wines from different regions in Australia, and participants of the programme will receive an official certificate issued by Wine Australia acknowledging your attendance.
A+ Australian Wine School courses are exclusively offered by AWSEC in Hong Kong. It was created by Wine Australia in 2011 with the aim of bringing a better understanding of Australian wines to professionals and enthusiasts. It sets the groundwork for all wine lovers to explore their own ways of enjoying the diversity of Australian wines.
