Asia Wine Service & Education Centre (“AWSEC”) has been providing wine education to the trade and the public for over 15 years. Our extensive range of services is all delivered by our experienced, knowledgeable and highly qualified team of wine educators. Headquartered in Hong Kong, AWSEC designs and provides top quality wine and spirits education and training in Asia, e.g. mainland China and India, and the courses are available in English as well as some local languages.

We are registered with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (“WSET”) in the UK and is the only Approved Programme Provider (APP No. 802) in Hong Kong for running courses and examinations up to and including Diploma level.

AWSEC also offers programmes from other prestigious wine education organisations around the globe including the International Sommelier Guild (“ISG”) in the US, L’Ecole du Vin de Bordeaux (Bordeaux Wine School) in France as well as The Wine Academy of Spain (“TWAS”) in Spain.

As the premier provider of wine education and related services in the Asian region, it is our objective to enhance students’ knowledge and enjoyment of wine by combining practical wine tasting techniques with theoretical wine knowledge at different levels, so that students will be able to apply wine knowledge in daily life occasions, work scenarios and social events.

We are dedicated to delivering the highest standards of service and wine education in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. We believe learning about wine should be both inspiring and fun.

In the last 15 years, our centre has grown dramatically both in size and in the number of staff who work with us. Nothing is more exciting for us than seeing our students enhance their knowledge and appreciation of wine, resulting in many occasions in career advancement in the vibrant wine industry.

We are deeply grateful to the support and confidence our clients have in us, to the many winemakers and speakers who travel all the way to speak at our courses and events, and to our team of professional and dedicated tutors and staff.
